Privacy Policy

Sigmate (“we”, “us”) is an email signature app for iPhone, iPad and Android. This policy explains what we collect and why. The short version: your signature stays on your device, we host images you choose to upload, and we do not sell or share personal data.
What we collect
- Signature content. The details you type (name, title, phone, links, and so on) are stored locally on your device. They are not sent to us unless you use a Pro hosting feature described below.
- Uploaded images (Pro). If you add a headshot, logo or banner, the image is uploaded to our servers (Cloudflare R2, United States and global edge locations) so email apps can display it. Each image gets a random, unguessable URL. Anyone who receives your email can view the image at that URL; that is how email images work.
- Signature links (Pro). If you create a signature link, the signature HTML is stored on our servers at a random URL so you can open it on another device. Signature links are not indexed by search engines.
- Click analytics (Pro, optional). If you switch on click analytics, links in your signature point to a Sigmate redirect address. When someone taps a link we count the click (which link, which day) and send them straight to your destination. We do not record who clicked, their IP address, or their location; there are no tracking pixels and nothing is placed in the recipient's inbox.
- Purchase information. Subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google. Our purchase provider, RevenueCat, receives an anonymous app user ID and your purchase status so we can unlock Pro. We never see your payment details.
- Technical data. Our servers log standard request data (IP address, user agent, timestamps) for security and abuse prevention. Logs are retained for up to 30 days.
What we do not do
- No accounts, no passwords, no email list.
- No advertising SDKs or third-party analytics inside the app.
- No selling or sharing of personal data with data brokers.
- No tracking pixels in your signature.
Your choices
- Remove an image or signature link in the app and it stops being used in new signatures. To have hosted files deleted from our servers, email support@sigmate.app with the URL and we delete it within 7 days.
- Delete the app to remove all locally stored signatures.
- Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID or Google Play settings.
Children
Sigmate is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
We will post updates here and change the effective date above.
